Tube Drawing Dies for Soft MetalsTube drawing dies for copper or aluminum tubes usually need 16°-18° reduction angle and 25%-30% bearing.
Tube Drawing Dies for Hard MetalsTube drawing dies for steel tubes usually have 12°-14° reduction angle and 30%-40% bearing. The PCD blanks also should be big enough.
Tube Drawing Dies for AlloysParameters of tube drawing dies for alloys should be checked according to the specific hardness of this alloy tube.

Specification Control of Tube Drawing Dies
Every specification of a tube drawing die is critical especially reduction part and diameter tolerance. Reduction area should be long enough to transform the tubes. Tolerance of a big tube drawing die is not easy to control but we are able to keep tolerance of a 26.54 mm die to be +0/-0.008mm to ensure the accuracy of your tube size.

Life time of tube drawing dies are decided by the tube materials and drawing circumstance.
Generally speaking, life time of a copper tube drawing PCD dies is several years but that of a steel drawing die will be shorter.
PCD tube dies have longer life time, better tube service but higher price. Restricted to PCD blanks’ size, the biggest PCD tube dies we are able to make is 27.0mm. Tungsten carbide tube dies can be made in bigger diameters to 60.0mm with lower price but their service time is not long.

Production time of a tube die will be not short because of big diameter. The estimated time is about 3 weeks.
Compared with PCD wire dies or tungsten carbide tube dies, price of tube drawing dies would be higher. But cost performance of PCD tube dies are much higher and we’ll keep the price to be competitive.
